SOMETIMES THE WORDS ARE NOT MINE
Sometimes the words are not mine
I just let them be and let them shine
I let them fly as high as they can
For I want them to take a decent charming flight
Unless they get stuck onto some grind
I ask them to back off for I fear they’ll lose the fight
Sometimes the words when the words are mine
They come by as they are as much as they shine
I try and keep them low just so they can sooth
But they scathe inadvertently, incorrigibly
I, then get stuck onto some apology
Sometimes I come clean, sometimes I fail horribly
For the least to speak,
Taking a stand and a stance on my words so meek
I free them as much I possibly can
I let them reach their destined object, human or inhuman
If they ask for a little too much
I’ll hold them tight if they get out of hand
